Dayton Golf and Country Club
History
Since 1957, Dayton Golf & Country Club has provided the community with a place for recreation, relaxation, and fellowship. We are a semi-private club and Rhea County's only 18-hole golf course located at the foot of the mountain just minutes north of Dayton off U.S. Highway 27. Our facilities include practice greens, a short range, and a full-service restaurant. Memberships are available, and guest play is welcome. The course opened as only a 9- hole course but was renovated in the early 70's into the 18-hole course we know & play today. Our fairways are a mix of common & Tifway 419 Bermuda grass & our greens are Zoysia.

The chippings & putting practice greens are conveniently located just outside the pro shop.
As of January 2025, renovations to our short iron range have begun! They are expanding the tee area & adding an additional putting green.

The men & women's locker room is located just a short distance to the back of the building.
It includes a TV with couches to relax on after 18 holes.

We are hiring part time, for both maintenance and pro shop!
